business since 1988, SCAN Medical has been providing durable medical
equipment to the health care industry for many years. SCAN Medical's customers
include medical equipment dealers, institutions, clinicians, and individual
consumers as well. Over the years, this has helped to provide us with a broad
perspective of customer needs.
Based on our experience and expertise, SCAN Medical has recognized the need for
Transfer Devices, particularly Manual Transfer Devices. Therefore, in 1996, SCAN
Medical began developing, and has recently introduced a new line of innovative
products to assist in transfers. Designed for use in a variety of mobility
transfer applications, SafetySureTM Transfer Devices are light-weight, user
friendly and cost effective.
Scan Medical strives to increase the independence of persons who have mobility
impairments and, if independence is not possible due to the level of impairment,
SafetySureTM products will at least facilitate the task for caregivers.
SafetySureTM Transfer Devices also reduce, and often even eliminate, the risk of
injury to caregivers.
SCAN Medical's products are available to dealers and professionals as
well as to consumers for direct purchase.
